Chad Lyman
is in his 21st year of  policing and currently serves full time  for a major metropolitan police department in Southern Nevada. Chad has served in patrol, as an FTO, in full time tactical units, in advanced training, and currently is a firearms instructor, an advanced DTI, and a court recognized SME regarding LEO use of force.
Chad has trained BJJ and MMA since 1999, and has been coaching BJJ/MMA in Vegas since 2006. Chad has competed and coached for some of the top teams in the world and currently oversees the BJJ program and coaches at Xtreme Couture MMA and Las Vegas Krav Maga and MMA teams in Las Vegas.  Chad is the Director of Code 4 Concepts, the combatives wing of Progressive Force Concepts.  Chad’s greatest passions is developing and sharing an LEO specific combatives curriculum that inspires officers to train and overcome challenges physically, with time, or financially.

Ari Knazan
worked for 18 years in the private security sector and moved to policing 5 years ago. He is  Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt as well as a 5th degree black belt in Japanese Jiu Jitsu. Ari has spent over 30 years in the martial arts and has been instructing since 2003. He is the Owner of Torvus Tactical, Fierce Jiu Jitsu Academy and creator of the original Submissions 101 video site. His focus is self protection using Jiu Jitsu as the application. He is the co-founder of Invictus, a collective that aims on getting police officers and agencies to adopt Jiu Jitsu as their primary use of force training modality.

Jason Rebsch
has 24 years combined police experience and is a Black Belt and Instructor under Brian Marvin of Renzo Gracie Houston. Currently is assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division of his Department and has previously served as Patrol Sergeant and SRT Team Leader among other positions. Jason is also responsible for teaching Patrol, Active Shooter and Defensive Tactics at his agency. Jason has trained Jiu Jitsu for nearly 12 years and has competed at all levels. Jason is also the creator of BJJ Cop whose goal is to encourage Police Officers to begin training Jiu Jitsu by demonstrating the effectiveness of Jiu Jitsu in Law Enforcement. Jason is a Co-Founder of the Invictus Movement.
Ismael Gomez
has 13 years law enforcement experience in corrections, patrol, court, and training. positions. Now in his 13th year of training in BJJ, he  works for Riverside County Sheriffs Dept and trains out of Carlson Gracie HQ - Temecula. Ismael is the creator of Blue Line Grappling which aims to help officers get into Jiu Jitsu. He provides several videos of how jiu jitsu can be used in law enforcement.

Keith Owen

is a 3rd  Degree Black Belt with 27 years of experience, Professor Keith Owen pioneered the Police Ground Control Program for the Idaho Police Academy (P.O.S.T)  and was a former deputy with the Twin Falls County Sheriffs Dept. Keith also holds black belts in T.A.I. Kung Fu and a Black Sash in Wu Wei Gung Fu from Bruce Lee student Joseph Cowles.

-Author of “From the Ground Up – A Survival Guide for Beginning Students.” and the highly acclaimed video series called “Favorite Moves Vol 1, 2, 3 and Lights Out Vol 1 & 2.

Professor Owen is prominently known for his advocation of Technical Jiu-Jitsu which focuses on angles, timing and proper form over sheer athleticism and muscle.

Jeffro Mullenax
is a 14 year veteran  as a Texas police officer who has a backgorund as a SWAT Operator, SWAT Sniper, and K9 handler. Jeffro is a BJJ Brown Belt and trains out of Gracie Humaitá in Austin Texas. He is a World NoGi Champion, a Sheepdog Response Instructor, and a Central Texas College Police Academy Instructor
